Wild Camp Woodland Days:

These camps are a fabulous few days allowing your children to run, climb, play, learn, explore, discover and grow. We also carve out some quiet moments too; slowing down, tuning into the environment, swinging in the hammocks, learning a campfire song, telling a story or engaging in some mindful hand crafting.

Crafternoon: Studio and Field days

These emerging sessions are for those that enjoy the focus of handcrafts. We start in the studio crafting, followed by an afternoon in the field by the studio. There’s lots of similar elements to the woodland days; fire lighting, den building, hammocks and play just with the addition of longer time crafting, gardening and being in the field. They’ve been really popular so far hence the extension to a full day. The handcrafting focuses on using renewable, natural materials, allowing us to create as much as possible. Some examples include; clay creations, natural dying, felting, nature journaling, wool creations, weaving and basketry. Spaces for these sessions are limited. Ideally children need to be 6+ to stay focused and manage the crafting. If you’re unsure please get in touch.

Camps for the 11+:

I LOVE that the Rooted Wings crew are getting older and still want to come along. More of you are asking about day sessions for the older ones (11+) I’d love to be able to facilitate them in the holidays too. (They already run term time).
